All That Glitters by Tracy Krimmer

Dory’s life has just took a 180. Losing her fame had nothing on losing the life she once had. Now she has to crawl back to the town she deserted, and everyone isn’t excited.

Plot:

Obviously All that glitters isn’t gold! Also, if you love someone let it go and if they come back they’re yours!

Negatives:

There were time in the book when things could have gotten epic! For example what if Dory kept driving and Harris thought she was leaving again. The ending was too quick for me I needed so much more! And of course I wanted Dory to make up with Tammy but not in a way that could land her in trouble! I wanted to see how the rumor mill around town felt about the new couple.

Positives:

Besides two mishaps the main character made some great choices. My favorite parts to this book was Harris and his father. The old fashioned charm of owning a family business. Harris knew love and was determined not to let it go. Best qualities in a book and man. He also wasn’t afraid to dismiss his friends sexist behavior.

My Thoughts:

All that Glitters was well thought out and planned. This wasn’t your typical riches to rags story. There is nothing better when you can feel the love from the pair! I couldn’t put the book down. I read it in one day. Cheers to Tracy Krimmer for creating numerous amazing characters. The lessons Dory had to learn really filled the novel at every turn. Can’t wait to finish the series and dive into more of her books! 5/5 stars!
